The Proposition Formula

Privacy

This site is run by Do Your Bit Ltd. It collects very little: your email address if you give it to us, analytics cookies if you accept them, and a record of clicks through to Amazon that does not identify you.

Amazon Associate

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

The “Order on Amazon” links on this site go through thepropositionformula.com/buy, which sends you to the Amazon store for your country. Links to amazon.co.uk and amazon.com carry our Associates tag, so Amazon pays us a small commission if you buy. You pay the same either way.

Your email address

When you sign up on this site, your email address goes to Mailchimp, which sends the opening chapter, launch news, event dates and Felix’s Sunday email on scaling a business on our behalf. Mailchimp asks you to confirm the address before anything else is sent. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. We do not share your address with anyone else.

Cookies and analytics

We use analytics cookies (Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager) only if you accept them, to see which parts of the site people read. If you reject them, none are set. Your choice is kept in your own browser so we don’t ask again. .

Your country

Cloudflare, which delivers this site, tells us which country you are visiting from. We use that to show prices in pounds or dollars and to pick your Amazon store. When you click through to Amazon we record the country, the edition, the store and the page you clicked from, without a cookie and without sending your IP address to Google.

The scorecard

The Proposition scorecard at scorecard.thepropositionformula.com runs on ScoreApp. The answers and details you give there go to ScoreApp and to us, and are covered by the Scale at Speed privacy notice, which also sets out your rights in full.

Questions

To see what we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted, email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
